Welcome to the CHILDSPLA project:
Children’s health state preferences learnt from animation.
CHILDSPLA is a collaboration between the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal College of Art.
We have developed an app for the iPad which uses an animated character to collect information from children aged between 4 and 14 about their health.
So far we have tested this app to see how well it compares to other ways of collecting information in almost 500 children both in schools and in hospitals.
Currently we are developing and testing a method of eliciting health state preferences from children.
